On the other hand, even with the intense bass that accentuates the atmosphere of the game, the rhythms chosen feel very cheerful and out of place compared to what happens on screen. Streets of Rage Remake is a remastered version of the MegaDrive classic. Despite this small setback (at least in my opinion), the critics praised the dark style, the image, and the excellent implementation of the 2-player mode of the adventure. As a veteran Streets of Rage player, having beaten the previous 3 games more times than I care to count over the last 20-odd years, I am finding Streets of Rage 4 insanely difficult - far more difficult than "normal" should be, IMO.

All forgiveable all their own, but the developers going out of their way to make the game worse, over and over, is just sad.
