Fire protection engineering courses are available to explore basic processes of fire behavior, prediction of fire development, the combustion of materials and furnishings, the effects of fire on structures and the environment, smoke management, evacuation and tenability analysis and the law. Units of Competence The Passive fire protection Level 3 Foundation is offered in partnership with the Association of Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) and has been developed by ASFP and the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE). The courses consist of both theoretical and practical skills that complement each other while enhancing the fire protection knowledge of the participants.
