This DVD Movie is based on a true story! Always liked this movie, having been to Guam, but it was probably filmed in the Philippines because some location shots don't remind me of the Guam of that era.
Hunter is a joy to watch as the resourceful Tweed.

I can't speak to the accuracy of the story, as respects its main character: George Tweed.

'No man is an island' a quotation from the English metaphysical poet John Donne provides the title to this movie, and unless you buy the racist premise of the colonial superiority of the white man, the title makes no sense.
