There are no descriptions of the actual shoes that Juno tries on, and there is no explanation of who each of the women are in the story, so you have to fill in what they've done and why it is significant for your child. Lydia Monks’ illustrations were beautiful.My children love Julia Donaldson books so we looked forward to reading this one. $2.99 $1.99. It was a good story but I felt like the ending was missing In turn they absolutely loved this story about magic shoes. They love shoes and dressing up.
I as a parent am always looking for books that are toically relevent to the things that interest my kids but also tha are a pleasure to read and Julia never fails. The other shoes never talked to them. I am dreaming of having some one day too !!

I like the story and i think it's cool. Great story, "Off" is spelled wrong in the last sentence, but very good. Most groups rarely solve Magic Shoes on their first attempt.

It was a very cute story both of my kids love it and beg me to read it to them over and over again I LOVE this story especially when he flew in the shoes! Entertaining read as usual for Donaldson and full of bright beautiful illustrations.
