The race at Zandvoort was supposed to make its return to the F1 calendar in 2020, but will now have to wait until next year due to the global pandemic.Given that it had a May slot this year, the assumption was that it will hold one again in 2021. Unfortunately, in the Netherlands we still have to do without the first edition of the Dutch Grand Prix in the Netherlands.
[52] [53] The race will mark the first time the Dutch Grand Prix has been run since 1985 . This was announced today by circuit director Robert van Overdijk during a press release on the circuit, in the presence of GPblog.com.
Zandvoort is open to a later date slot for Dutch Grand Prix in 2021 so that fans can attend after gaining its FIA Grade 1 circuit licence this week. -
